Terms & conditions

The terms of use of Chargma services.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Chargma app, the electric-vehicle charging network and related services in Morocco. By creating an account or starting a charging session, you accept these terms.

2. Account

You must create an account with accurate, up-to-date information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for any activity carried out from your account. You must be of legal age and capacity to use the service.

3. Charging sessions

You start and stop a session through the app. You are responsible for correctly connecting your vehicle and for following the charger's safety instructions. Charger availability and power output may vary by site and operator.

4. Pricing and per-minute billing

Charging is billed per minute. Unless otherwise shown on the charger or in the app, each session includes a connection fee of 3 DH, then 0.50 DH per minute of charging. Once charging is complete, a 10-minute grace period applies; after that, an idle fee of 0.25 DH per minute is charged to free the charger for other drivers.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by our provider CMI. By starting a session, you authorise the corresponding amount to be charged to your saved payment method. Prices are shown in Moroccan dirhams (DH) and include applicable taxes.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may stop a session at any time; billing stops when charging actually ends (idle fees may still apply). If a charger malfunctions and bills you incorrectly, contact support to obtain a refund.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to damage chargers, not to circumvent payment or safety measures, and not to use the service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or close an account in case of breach.

8. Liability

Chargma provides the service with reasonable care but does not guarantee uninterrupted charger availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount of the relevant charging fees. We are not liable for damage to a vehicle caused by a defect of the vehicle itself or by improper use.

9. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which complies with Moroccan Law 09-08 and the supervision of the CNDP.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Moroccan courts, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
